Job Description

As a CRM Manager you will be responsible for the day to day running of the organisations recently implemented system (ThankQ)The role

  • Maintenance and development of knowledge management system(s) working with suppliers.
  • Drive forward new initiatives and processes, working closely with the system provider and other internal stakeholders where required, identifying further improvements if relevant.
  • Where possible ensure the automation of income generation sources via the CRM (a) own platforms (website/social) and (b) third party sources (just giving, lottery)
  • Work collaboratively company-wide to ensure transfer of knowledge and skills related to data and systems.
  • Coordinate company-wide training of the system on an annual basis
  • Provide ongoing support to all users as issues arise
  • Develop effective system documentation outlining data protocols (policies, procedures and guidelines) to ensure consistency regarding data inputting, processing/handling internally and when working with third parties.
  • Ensure company-wide compliance with data protocols via regular data audits to check on data sources and inputting, working in collaboration to ensure that all knowledge is being inputted and maintained to provide the highest level of data integrity.
  • Data guardians to ensure quality and GDPR compliance
  • Working with SLT to manage any requirements with the Information Commissioners Office - the UKs independent authority set up to uphold information rights in the public interest, promoting openness by public bodies and data privacy for individuals.
  • Develop and manage database project plan to meet short- and medium-term priorities, including regular ongoing maintenance and system upgrades. This to include data integrity- data cleansing and updates (return to sender/deceased/archiving)
  • Insight reporting
  • Processing incoming contact from donors, supporters, stakeholders and funders. Largely focused on one-off and/or annual support provided by (a) post; (b) phone; (c) online and (d) fundraising - community and corporate
  • Skills/Experience
  • Experience in database management and processing
  • High level of computing skills
  • Well-developed administrative, organisational and numeracy skills
  • Ability to prioritise duties, manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Understanding of current fundraising principles and philosophies
  • Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain working relationships.
  • Promote teamwork
  • Working knowledge of ThankQ would be advantageous
