Job Description

Job Title: Cash Allocation ClerkLocation:DudleyJob Type:Full-Time - 5 days per week on siteOur client:Dynamic and collaborative business based in Dudley are looking to appoint an experienced Cash Allocation Clerk. They foster a positive and collaborative work environment where employees are encouraged to learn, grow, and contribute to our success. As theycontinue to expand, they are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Cash Allocation Clerk to join their finance team.Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently allocate and apply incoming cash receipts to customer accounts.
  • Reconcile daily bank statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Investigate and resolve unapplied or misapplied cash transactions.
  • Collaborate with the accounts receivable team to address and rectify payment discrepancies.
  • Monitor and report on aged receivables to ensure timely cash application.
  • Maintain accurate and organised records of cash transactions.
  • Provide support during audits by preparing relevant documentation and reports.
  • Assist in process improvement initiatives related to cash allocation.
Experience:
  • 1-2 years of cash allocation preferred.
