Job Description

~ Anti-Social Behaviour Officer ~Spencer Clarke Groupare working in partnership withDudley Council to appoint a Anti-Social Behaviour Officer to their Community Service.6 Month agency contract with a view to being extended on an ongoing basis.Full time hours – 37 Hours a week.Location– Brierley Hill, West Midlands, DY5 1LN.Rate of Pay-£14.71+ per hour – Higher rates can be negotiated for more experienced candidates.About the Role;To deliver a high quality, prompt, effective and appropriate response service to reports of anti-social behaviour, noise nuisance (including statutory nuisance), and hate incidents regardless of tenure.Key Responsibilities;

  • Responsible for responding to and resolving reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB), noise nuisance (including statutory nuisance) and hate incidents across residential areas.
  • Responsible for the development and delivery of prevention and diversionary tactics and activities relating to ASB.
  • Responsible as the case manager for delivering customer focused and pro-active approaches to the investigation and sustainable resolution of ASB, noise nuisance and hate incidents.
  • Act as a professional witness where necessary and appropriate to do so and to attend and give evidence at court when required.
  • Responsible for providing direct and indirect support and re-assurance to those who report ASB, noise nuisance or hate incidents.
  • Ensure timely and accurate recording of all relevant information on managed cases on the ASB database and Electronic Document Management Systems.
  • Closely liaise with all customer-facing teams to meet business and service objectives, maintaining excellent working relationships.
  • Effectively liaise with members of the Safe and Sound Partnership and other internal and external individuals and organisations to ensure excellent customer service and an effective response to reports of ASB.
  • Assist colleagues, demonstrate flexibility and contribute to effective team work.
  • Be available to carry out work outside of normal office hours (evenings and weekends) as necessary for the needs of the service for example but not limited to providing advice, attending site and carrying out targeted witnessing.
  • Promote tenancy sustainment, community cohesion, social inclusion, diversity and equal opportunities through the delivery of the ASB service.
