Job Description

VACANCY – Anti Social Behaviour OfficerLocation: DudleyLength: 4 months /Ongoing ContractHours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday – FridayPay: £19.50 per hour via UmbrellaVenn Group are currently recruiting for an Anti-Social Behaviour Officer due to a temporary peak in the workload. You will be required to deliver a high quality, prompt, effective and appropriate response service to reports of anti-social behaviour, noise nuisance (including statutory nuisance) and hate incidents regardless of tenure.You will be expected to deliver a high level of customer satisfaction and to develop and deliver tactics and diversionary activities aimed at preventing anti-social behaviour.Responsibilities of the role:

  • Providing up to date knowledge of legislations regarding welfare and benefits, universal credit and debt release
  • To be responsible for responding to and resolving reports of anti-social behaviour (ASB), noise nuisance (including statutory nuisance) and hate incidents across residential areas
  • To be responsible for the development and delivery of prevention and diversionary tactics and activities relating to ASB
  • To be responsible as the case manager for delivering customer focused and pro-active approaches to the investigation and sustainable resolution of ASB, noise nuisance and hate incidents
  • To act as a professional witness where necessary and appropriate to do so and to attend and give evidence at court when required
  • To be responsible for providing direct and indirect support and re-assurance to those who report ASB, noise nuisance or hate incidents
  • To ensure timely and accurate recording of all relevant information on managed cases on the ASB database and Electronic Document Management Systems
  • To closely liaise with all customer-facing teams to meet business and service objectives, maintaining excellent working relationships
  • To effectively liaise with members of the Safe and Sound Partnership and other internal and external individuals and organisations to ensure excellent customer service and an effective response to reports of ASB
  • To be available to carry out work outside of normal office hours (evenings and weekends) as necessary for the needs of the service for example but not limited to providing advice, attending site and carrying out targeted witnessing
  • Essential experience/requirements:
  • Previous experience in a related role
  • A full UK drivers’ license and access to a vehicle
  • Enhanced DBS
