Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Learning & Development Partner to join our established HR team based at Dronfield. This is a newly created role which will build upon our strategy to develop our in-house talent pool.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Learning & Development professional to become a part of our successful team which is supporting a significant growth strategy throughout the Henry Boot Group of Companies.You will be responsible for supporting the operational delivery of the development and up-skilling of our people. You will be a key point of contact, partnering with the subsidiaries to ensure that the provision of learning and development meets their needs. You will work alongside our Apprentice & Learning Advisor in order to identify, develop and implement learning solutions and be involved with wider people related projects.Key Function of the Role

  • Work with key stakeholders to develop our people to support the company priorities in order to meet operational requirements;
  • Develop effective relationships with employees and learning providers;
  • Work with relevant stakeholders to identify learning and development requirements and advise on solutions;
  • Procure and develop imaginative and cost-effective learning solutions to maximise the learner experience;
  • Manage, monitor and evaluate the quality of existing external providers to ensure objectives are being achieved;
  • Manage and co-ordinate the CITB Levy and Grant requirements;
  • Coordinate central bookings and general learning and development administration.Key Requirements
  • Proven experience in a learning and development role;
  • Preferably qualified in psychometrics and/or a learning and development qualification;
  • Strong planning and problem-solving skills;
  • Strong collaboration skills;
  • Strong attention to details and able to handle multiple projects;
  • Flexible and hands on approach;
  • Excellent communication skills;
  • Self-motivated and can work autonomously;
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Demonstrates the Group Values and encourages others to do the same;
