Job Description

Tank Wash OperativeMenzies Distribution are currently looking for a Tank Wash Operative to join our Tankers team based in Droitwich. Youll be responsible for carrying out and ensure completion of daily tasks in line with the service specification and a full understandingof allergen cross contamination, management and control is required.What You Really Want To Know

  • The salary for this role is £25k per annum
  • The working week is Monday to Friday
  • Hours of work are 07:00 to 16:30
  • Holiday entitlement is 28 including Bank Holidays
  • Overtime is available
Tank Wash Operative Duties
  • Adhere to cleaning schedule and procedures to ensure the correct levels of cleanliness are maintained (CAYG)
  • Attend to product spillages when they occur and follow the spillage procedure
  • Monitor consumables and notify Depot Manager of any requirements
  • Operative to assist with audit
  • Complete all required forms on a daily basis
  • Tank Washing and post wash inspections to be completed
  • Complete wash certificates and drivers log books after each wash completed
  • Book in tanks for washing on booking system
  • Comply with standards and procedures and compliance to record keeping
  • Report any potential failures to conform
  • Participate in food safety reviews (HACCP)
  • Participate in quality management reviews
Tank Wash Operative Requirements
  • Licenses C+E an advantage and previous work with HGVs
  • Customer Service oriented
  • Good observational skills to spot defective products
  • The ability to work quickly to meet targets
  • The ability to follow strict health and safety guidelines and quality procedures
  • Good standards of personal hygiene
  • Able to work under pressure
  • Works within the parameters of the health and safety/environmental policies
  • Maintain positive working relationships
  • Problem Solving
  • Patience to carry out repetitive tasks
  • Excellent time-management skills with ability to adhere to deadlines
  • Use own initiative
  • Dependable and trustworthy
  • Good team working skills and the ability to work on your own
