Job Description

Job title: Purchase Ledger Team LeaderLocation: DroitwichWorking Hours: Hybrid working model with 2 days in the office.Pay Rate: £20.00 per hourAre you a skilled accounting professional looking for an exciting leadership role We are currently seeking a Purchase Ledger Team Leader to join our dynamic team in Droitwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to lead a team of Accounts Payable Officers, ensuringthe accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices while maintaining compliance with policies and procedures.Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of Accounts Payable Officers in the processing and payment of supplier invoices.
  • Ensure accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with all relevant accounting policies and procedures.
  • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including VAT.
  • Possess an AAT or other professional accounting qualification.
  • Utilize experience with Sage200/Sage50 purchase ledger systems.
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven leadership experience in an accounting or finance environment.
  • AAT or other professional accounting qualification.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, including VAT.
  • Experience with Sage200/Sage50 purchase ledger systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
