Job Description

Position: MET TechnicianLocation: Droitwich, WorcesterHours: Full-TimeSalary: Competitive, based on experience and qualifications (£13.50 - £17.50 per hour)Join a dynamic team as an MET Technician and showcase your skills in the automotive industry. My client is a thriving automotive repair centre based in Droitwich, Worcester, and theyre seeking a highly skilled and experienced MET Technician to join theirteam.Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct diagnostic assessments to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults in vehicles.
  • Perform efficient and accurate repairs and maintenance on vehicles, ensuring high-quality workmanship.
  • Utilise specialised tools and equipment to carry out a range of mechanical, electrical, and trim (MET) repairs.
  • Undertake vehicle dismantling and reassembly, including removal and fitting of components and systems.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all repair processes.
  • Collaborate effectively with other team members, communicating any relevant findings or updates.
Role Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an MET Technician or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
  • Strong knowledge and expertise in mechanical, electrical, and trim repairs.
  • Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment and specialised tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyse and troubleshoot vehicle faults.
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to delivering quality work.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
