Job Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our nationally recognised client who are looking for a Team Leader withing their operational Customer Supply team. They are a household name who are incredibly well established and offer a friendly team environmentwith huge potential for development and progression.Managing a team of two and taking an active presence within the Customer Supply Team by supporting with the management of key processes. The role is crucial within the Operations Team and it will have a heavy focus and emphasis on reporting therefore strongExcel skills will be vital.Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with both the Operations and Sales Teams to support the delivery of performance against set targets
  • Providing daily load planning schedules to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key performance metrics
  • Dealing with daily escalations and managing the Customer Supply Team
  • Providing holiday cover across the team escalating issues and concerns to the Customer Supply Manager
  • Working patterns Monday to Friday 10 am - 6 pm, with weekend on-call / cover required in busy periods.
Requirements:
  • Experience of Managing/Supervising a team
  • Analytical with the ability to develop and evaluate data sets when making business decisions
  • Experience in a Supply Chain/Logistics environment
  • Possess the ability to work productively, efficiently & effectively, with initiative and drive under tight timescales and pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality
  • Possess relevant IT skills in MS Office applications - particularly Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to organise and prioritise workloads
  • Problem solving and flexibility to respond to operational challenges/customer demands
