  • Lead the firm’s audit function ensuring excellence is delivered.
  • Ensure the department is offering outstanding compliance and advisory services to a broad range of clients.
  • Professionally represent the firm during networking opportunities, confidently scoping new business opportunities.
  • Drive strategic target setting, as well as forecasting and reporting on department budgeting.
  • Mentor managers and support with their learning and development to ensure they in turn manage the junior team effectively.
  • Uphold close liaison with other departments.

Job Requirements
  • ACA or ACCA qualified with extensive tax compliance and advisory experience within practice
  • Confident to represent the firm within new networks to secure new business
  • Previous senior management level leadership experience, with a positive attitude
  • Strategically minded in reviewing processes and improving systems to boost efficiency
  • Strong communication skills are essential, both verbal and written
  • Commercial acumen and an agile and flexible approach to leadership
