Job Description

MTrec are currently recruiting for a renowned and respected manufacturing company based in the Durham area. MTrec are currently looking for proactive individuals who are looking for an ongoing position.The Role:

  • Production start-up and monitoring of extruder equipment to achieve output targets whilst meeting quality standards producing sheet to the agreed specification
  • Remove sheet specimens according to Company guidelines
  • Check, measure, record and evaluate sheet parameters
  • Participate in the dismantling and cleaning of equipment; remove scrap and/or unused materials Grinding of scrap
  • Allocate sheet to the appropriate rack system
  • Participate in stock taking
  • Training and re-training of employees
  • Actively taking part in Lean activities & continuous improvements including Kaizen & 5S
  • Ensuring SOPs are followed on shift
  • Carry out general housekeeping activities within the work area.
The Person:
  • Able to work towards strict deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to work with minimum supervision
  • Reach and counterbalance license desirable

  • 06:00-18:00/18:00-06:00
