Job Description

At EV Cargo Global Forwarding we know that our people are the cornerstone of our continued success. We have a fantastic opportunity for a Customer Services Apprentice at our Dover site.By joining this dynamic industry, you will work alongside our Freight Forwarding Team learning all aspects of international trade.About the roleThis role is ideal for a proactive and well organised individual who is looking to develop a career in Freight Forwarding. You will be supported with personal targets and development plans set by your manager. An ideal opportunity to take your first steps into the business world. You will earn while you learn, developing skills and abilities that will enhance your career, whilst gaining valuable experience. Alongside this you will complete an 18-month apprenticeship program leading to a Level 3 qualification in International Freight Forwarding.What will I be doing

  • You will handle and receipt customer documentation.
  • Print and sort customer documentation.
  • Check that documentation matches our company systems.
  • Chase any missing documentation.
  • Accurately input data entry on company systems.
  • Use supplier websites to obtain correct and accurate data.
  • Communicate via email and telephone with client’s and suppliers.
  • Completing HMRC customs entries (full training will be provided).
  • Working well as part of a team.
