For over 100 years, we have produced rustic stone and slate from our quarry near Yelverton. Our high-quality products are used in gardens, newbuilds, extensions and walls around Devon and Cornwall.We have been fortunate in that our business has not been impacted by the pandemic and we have continued to maintain a busy workload and grow as a company.Due to this continued expansion, were now looking for a number of Quarry Operatives to join our team in Dousland.The Benefits- Salary of £9.00 per hour, rising to £9.25 per hour after probation (Upcoming pay review January 2022)- Substantial overtime available paid at time and a quarter- Bonus (after probation)- Full training- The potential to undertake forklift, dumper, excavator and stone-cutting training- Gain experience with a well-established company- Become a key member of a friendly teamYour RoleAs a Quarry Operative, youll support the smooth running of our site in Dousland.This role will involve lifting and carrying heavy items.
