Elevation Recruitment Group are partnered with a multi-national manufacturer who are looking for a Trainee HSE Coordinator to join their head office in Doncaster. This role will initially support the UK HSE Team and will report directly into the Head ofHSE. The business have a strong track record in investing intheir employees and are looking for someone who has strong communication skills and ideally some experience in a manufacturing/engineering environment although this isnt essential. The business are offering a competitive package alongside development opportunities and flexibility.Duties and responsibilities include:* General administration of companys Health & Safety policies and procedures.* Work closely with UK HSE team, and other key staff to establish and maintain Health, Safety and Environmental improvements within their areas of responsibility.* Support in the implementation of Risk/CoSHH assessments ensuring suitable and sufficient safe working instructions are determined and communicated as appropriate.* Responsible for the delivery of health, safety and environmental training in-house and arrangement of external training.* Carry out site audits ensuring compliance with all associated legislation and management system requirements. * Participate and support in accident and incident investigations, ensuring the meeting of statutory reporting deadlines to HSE where applicable.* Provision of statistics, trend analysis etc. Develop and monitor SHE key performance indicators, providing management with statistical analysis and taking remedial action where necessary.* Liaise with external bodies* Provide Health, Safety and Environmental support to key projects.* Effectively communicate all relevant safety, health and environmental information to internal and external stakeholders* Provide general administrative support where needed Im keen to speak to individuals with the following skillset:* HSE qualification such as IOSH/NEBOSH is desirable but not essential* Some understanding of HSE legislation* Sound administration and IT skills, particularly Excel* Some engineering or manufacturing experience would be advantageous* A willingness to learn
