Job Description

Technical OfficerDoncasterMy client, a renowned public sector organisation in Doncaster is looking for an experienced Technical Officer on a permanent basis.Responsibilities of the Technical Officer include:

  • Completing tenants visits to discuss their needs for adaptations
  • Carrying out property surveys for aids and adaptations
  • Designing, planning and producing technical drawings
  • Liaising and supervising contractors completing aids and adaptations
  • Carrying out pre and post inspections
  • Project managing installations, adaptations and extensions
  • Gaining planning and building control
  • Tendering and project administration
Essential experience for the role include:
  • Knowledge of disabled facilities grants or aids and adaptations
  • Recognised qualification/ HNC
  • Experience of property surveys
  • Management of contractors
