REED Sheffield is looking to recruit for permanent Occupational Therapists for Doncaster Metropolitan Borough Council. Pay - £27,049 - £36,942 (FTE). We fully recognise the value and fundamental importance of Occupational Therapy in promoting wellbeing, maximising independence, and supporting people to live meaningful lives. We are very excited to be seeking to recruit to a number of permanent posts for a Team Leader and Occupational Therapists to enable us to continue to develop and enhance our therapy offer in the Borough.You will be supported by our experts to develop your skills in person centred planning, providing advice and guidance on independence skills, assessing for a range of specialist equipment, minor and major adaptation planning, re-housing, and moving and handling. You will be expected to be an autonomous practitioner within a supportive team, adept at planning your time well to manage the demands within your caseload.As a valued member of the team, you will have access to peer support, 1:1 support and supervision, specialist clinical support from our Advanced Practitioners and Principal OT, monthly organised CPD activities and self-directed CPD, the opportunity to support the development of the team and to work with our partners across social care, Health, housing, and adaptations.There are roles available both in our community-based team and in our bed base Social Care Assessment unit.
