Job Description

KS2 Teacher, DoncasterA new, exciting opportunity has arisen for a confident and effective KS2 Teacher based in a Doncaster Primary school, full time. starting in September 2022.Based at an Ofsted Good rated Primary school with a strong team of staff,wonderful childrenandsupportive parents. The school has a hardworking team of staff committed to achieving high standards in their own professional practice and for the progress of their children. This school can offer a special and unique place to work for both Early CareerTeachers(ECTs) and more experienced KS2 Teachers with an in depth understanding of all areas of the KS2 curriculum including thedelivery of KS2 SATs.POSITION DETAILS

  • HoursFull time (8am-4pm)
  • Salary: £120-£180 per day
RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide strong subject knowledge to implement high-quality, teaching, learning and assessment within KS2.
  • Actively engage with the wider life of the school.
  • Have high expectations for student behaviour, progress, and achievement.
  • Create an inspiring, nurturing, and motivational learning environment for all students.
  • Support with the delivery of KS2 SATs for Year 6.
EXPERIENCE, TRIANING AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • QTS, PGCE or equivalent
  • Experience as a KS2 Teacher, specifically experience as an Upper KS2 Teacher, in a UK school would be advantageous.
  • Hold an enhanced DBS certificate registered on the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
  • Up to date Safeguarding knowledge and training
