A new role working as part of a leading successful specialist team in this fantastic company is now available!This exciting opportunity will provide direct support to external customers, understanding their requirements and assisting them with implementing my clients products, as well as providing support to the Business Development and Technical departments within the company.Working knowledge of motorsport/automotive vehicle architecture, including data acquisition systems, telemetry systems and power management systems is a must!You will also have knowledge of common automotive communications protocols and architecture such as CAN Bus is also ideal, together with experience of MoTeC, Cosworth, McLaren and the Bosch range of products, specifically using data analysis software and setting up of loggers.Youll be an expert at report writing for both internal and external audiences and will have experience of electronics and electrical systems, testing and debugging and will have a sound knowledge of automotive electrical and electronic applications and experience in an application engineering environment.Core competencies my client is seeking is:Good interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus Ability to work within a team environmentFlexibility to travel to other customer or track locations as requiredEffective Communication - the ability to clearly and effectively communicate across the business and with customersTime management - uses time effectively; the ability to prioritise and manage projects multiple projects to ensure the team meet critical deadlinesThe ability to work autonomously and develop self and othersProblem solving / decision making - ability to define and solve problems with excellent project planning and project management experienceMeeting deadlines/ commitments - ensuring team meet customer and project deadlinesAdaptability / flexibility (steadiness under pressure) - able to work under pressure and to deadlinesBuilding Relationships - proven experience of leading project teams and especially complex customer relationships.To review the full JD and understand this excellent opportunity more, please send your CV to Emma Baylis or call me for a no-strings and confidential chat.
