Job Description

Our client is looking to bring in an Office Manager to support our fast-growing company and Service Desk in Dinnington. We are a managed service provider working in the channel and directly with organisations from SME to corporate.The successful applicant will be responsible for supporting and reporting to the Service Delivery Manager. We are looking for an individual who is driven, has experience in managing a team and an understanding of the IT industry, however, this does not need to be from a technical aspect.Responsibilities

  • Assisting the Service Delivery Manager to oversee our current team of 10 engineers, assisting with time management, problem-solving and general management of the office environment
  • Producing weekly reports on client statistics to be reported to the Service Delivery Manager
  • Delegating tickets and priority of tickets for completion to ensure the desk stays within our SLA’s
  • Strategic management of the service desk to allow the engineers to work at their maximum potential and continue to provide clients with an effective service
  • Handle client queries and any issues that may arise, this will also include liaising with the Service Delivery Manager and relevant Account Manager
  • Managing staff annual leave, sickness and duty rota for out of hours shifts
  • Requirements
  • Experience within a management role in an MSP or IT environment
  • Proficiency in English and grammar
  • A strong understanding of MS Office and service desk systems (preferably SysAid)
  • Communication skills
  • Time management and planning skills
  • The ability to work as an individual and a team
