This role will support the Inventory Manager in all areas of analysis outside of the Inventory Controllers role.Who are we looking forYou should be a methodical, confident self-starter who is organised with an appetite to learn. Strong communication and numeracy skills together with an eye for detail are essential, along with a proficient level of computer literacy.Youll be working with key stakeholders across all levels within the organisation, including colleagues located in Australia.Key attributes should include:Be highly organized and possess excellent communication with the ability to interact with all areas of the business.You will have a flexible attitude, adaptable to change and able to work well in a fast-paced environment, under pressure, whilst maintaining attention to detail.A strong understanding of Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, lookups, charts etc.) and other Microsoft packages.Experience in an inventory / stock management environment would be an advantage.Key activities and responsibilities include:Raising everyday stock orders for both replenishment and new products.Liaising with customer teams to ensure stock forecasts are enabled in a timely manner for all projects.Reviewing, reporting and taking corrective action to ensure maximum availability of both replenishment and new stock for all customers, in line with UKG inventory policy, without creating unnecessary obsolescence.Managing major everyday inventory projects that fall outside of standard process.Reviewing monthly stock reports. Making recommendations of policy changes to improve availability or negating obsolescence.Monthly KPI Reporting to the senior team.Analysing and reporting on availability to relevant teams.Analysing and reviewing SKU selling rates for both UK and Australasian markets.Analysing and reporting on monthly obsolescence by account to relevant teams.Recommending proactive change to manage stock levels leading up to product refreshes (T-Reports).Liaising with major accounts, analyse and recommend initial stock build requirements. (Build Reviews)Liaising with UK and Far East supply teams, analyse and recommend proactive measures to level load production.Running prediction reports to understand future availability scenarios.Producing discard forms for discontinued product in line with the inventory policy.Reporting on actual obsolescence vs planned obsolescence.This role operates in a hybrid working pattern of office-based days and working from home.
