Supported Living WorkerCQC Queen Street, Dewsbury, West YorkshirePermanent, Part time (18.75 hpw) Salary of £21,314 pa (pro rata), plus Brilliant Benefits!Empowering customers to live rewarding and happy lives. Thats when it hits home.We have a fabulous job opportunity for you to join our awesome team at Queen Street as our Supported Living Worker. We support our brilliant customers with a mental health diagnosis. They live in their own flats within a large communal garden, and we supportthem with daily living skills, wellbeing, medication and personal care. We support our customers to live their day to day lives in the community as independently as possible. They have a 1:1 support package to manage their aspirations, wellbeing, support needs, risks and safety. We help with everyday activities including dailyliving tasks, health, emotional and behavioural support. Youll also make sure all records are up to date which will include scanning, archiving, safeguarding the building and carrying out cleaning duties.We help change our customers lives for the better. Youll play your part by assisting in the delivery of tasks that are based on our customers personal support plans, and their needs and aspirations. Youll work with our Senior Support Workers and externalagencies to assess and engage support for our customers. We empower our customers to develop the independent living skills they need, to successfully move on. Together well make a difference!About youAs a Supported Living Worker, youre passionate and motivated to help vulnerable people make positive and lasting changes to their lives. Youll impress us with your ability to work on your own initiative, positively influencing people from all different backgrounds. Youll also haveexperience in safeguarding, risk assessments, confidentiality, support plans, alongside working collaboratively.To make sure that we keep our records straight, and customers safe, its really important that you are technologically savvy (or at the very least not a technophobe!)When you join as a Supported Living Worker, youll need to have a valid Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service.
