Job Description

A good rated primary school based in Dewsbury are seeking a school site manager/caretaker to start as soon as possible.The successful candidate will support the delivery of teaching and learning by ensuring that the highest standards of health, safety, hygiene and security are maintained at all times.The ideal candidate will:

  • Have previous experience working as a school caretaker or site manager
  • Have good knowledge of the health and safety needs of the school
  • Be able to liaise with outside agencies to implement new equipment and systems in school
  • Be able to multi-task and work under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Have a DBS on the update service
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Making sure the highest standards of safety and well-being are implemented
  • Working with outside agencies to implement new equipment and systems in school
  • Being a key holder, opening and sometimes closing the school gates and premises
  • Undertaking general maintainance tasks
