Job Description

Quality EngineerAre you ambitious, hard-working, and open to challenging, but rewarding projects We are seeking experienced Quality Engineer to join accelerating start-up, focused on the development of advanced technology used in sustainable construction & buildings industry.Their advanced technology is mastered through years of multi-£m academic and industrial research and is contributing to Carbon Net Zero construction. The company is now bringing the product to the mass market globally and is expanding in all business aspects. As a Quality Engineer, you will be building your own desk and overseeing quality procedure for product assembly, managing the supply chain and most importantly, looking at the bigger picture of the business scaling up and moving to the international market.

What youll be doing:
  • Developing and implementing quality procedures for product assembly.
  • Defining product installation and commissioning processes.
  • Managing the supply chain and identifying potential subcontractors in the UK and overseas.
  • Providing failure mode effects analyses for product development.
  • Producing appropriate documentation and reports for new product regulatory compliance and technical files.
  • Performing internal audits of processes within the Quality Management System and preparing for external audits.
What experience you will need to apply:
  • Higher education or relevant degree in related Engineering field, mostly desirable within mechanical/electrical engineering.
  • Experienced in the construction products sector would be beneficial.
  • Knowledge and experience of ISO9001.
  • Advanced problem-solving skills.
  • It literate, including office packages and relevant technical software.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to build relationships with subcontractors and stakeholders.
  • Devoted and adaptable, with great attention to detail.
