Chase Medical are advertising for a Band 6 equivalent Practice Nurse.They need a Practice Nurse who can do the following skills, including Cytology, Child Immunisations, Flu Vaccinations, Ear Care, Wound Care and Chronic Disease Management. Ideally youll be confident with either Diabetes Reviews or the Respiratory Reviews, both would be very beneficial to an application - but not essential.If successful you will receive a Band 6 salary, Agenda for Change benefits and contract, including NHS pension and up to 33 days of annual leave + bank holidays off, which is dependent on length of service. They are looking for someone to join the team 25-30 hours, working pattern to be discussed.The GP surgery is in the TQ9 postcode, approximately 25 minutes drive from Torquay and about 30/35 minutes from Plymouth and Exeter. The surgery is in a wonderful modern building with excellent facilities, a kitchen, shower and staff room on site. The treatment rooms have lots of light, feel very airy and have new equipment and apparatus. They have a permit car park nearby, or free parking 5 minutes walk from the site. This surgery has an Outstanding CQC report that theyve managed to maintain over 2 visits, keeping themselves at a very high standard of care and excellence. There are 15,000 patients on the list which is supported by the clinical team of 9 GPs, 3 ANPs, 4 PNs, 3 HCAs, Phlebotomist and a Pharmacist.There are plenty of training and progression opportunities here, as they are a Training Practice with trainers onsite daily.
