Job Description

Planned Works Programme Surveyor Permanent Opportunity via BRCJobs: Planned Works Programme Surveyor Location: Devon Sector: Property and Housing Contract: Permanent Salary: £40,000 BRC are working with a Reputable Housing Association in the South West who are looking to recruit for an Investment programme surveyor as part of their planned works team, to lead on contract management for capital and revenue programmed works.Main Responsibilities:

  1. As part of the planned investment team, you will be leading on contract management for capital and revenue programmed works
  2. Responsible for budget monitoring for all managed projects, assessing progress against programme of works, authorization of payments and ensuring documents, certificates and invoices are accurate
  3. Responsible for the delivery of retrofit projects and property renewals
  4. Prepare contract documents, specification and CDM information in order to obtain competitive tenders, quotations and estimates
  5. Ensure that regular meetings with contractors to monitor projects progression and resolve any issues with delays or technical problems
  6. You will be responsible for the production of regular contract performance and progression
  7. Assist in the design, procurement and management of contracts and contractors in delivering the planned investment and major works programme
  8. Ensure that planning and building regulations are reviewed/compiled with during feasibility stage and prior to works starting on site
  9. Submit planning applications to support investment project works
  10. Undertake property condition surveys, ACM surveys , void and health & safety inspections
  11. Undertake validation surveys of stock, prepare schedules of condition, scope of work, defect analysis reports as required and ensure that specifications are kept up to date.
Job Requirements
  • Full Driving Licence
  • HNC/HND/equivalent
