Job Description

Building Fabric Project EngineerLocation: Multiple positions available in the South WestSalary:Potential OTE 40k50K per annumAre you a Multi-skilled Engineer with a Carpentry or roofing bias, looking for a Monday-Friday, days-based role that offers training, plenty of overtime and door to door payThis is a fantastic opportunity to work for a friendly, family run company that is expanding due to continued growth, you would be covering a local patch (we are currently recruiting for several regions) with future opportunities of progression to a supervisoryrole. The company know that the workforce are the most important part of their business and they strive to ensure that they are treated as such.The PersonAn opportunity has arisen for an experienced Fabric Engineer to carry out Reactive and planned maintenance activities to a variety of commercial/retail and leisure premises in Southwest England and Wales, this will include Carpentry, Decoration, Wet TradeTasks and Small Civil Works all external and internal. Applicants will need to uphold the company values and have good customer service skills. This is a hands-on role that would suit an individual that can work using their own initiative and have a proactiveapproach to undertake all tasks required. Must be conscientious and a reliable team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills. The ability to, liaise with the customer/landlords representatives and their clients when required.Requirements

  • A Building or Construction allied trade qualification.
  • Previous trades experience including repairs and maintenance within commercial premises.
  • Good time keeping.
  • To be able to use own initiative to get the job done and work well as part of a small team.
  • IPAF, PASMA, Confined Space Trained an advantage.
  • Up to date relevant industry related knowledge.
  • Up to date relevant knowledge of Health and Safety legislation.
  • Experience of using handheld devices and client software a preference.
Working HoursHours of work can vary according to the demands of the customer & access. Flexibility is essential.Contracted to 42.5 hours a week (on average around 50-55 hours a week including travel) Weekend Overtime always available at enhanced pay rates.Company Benefits
