About The RoleHealth Care Assistants at Practice Plus Group Hospitals come from all walks of life. Do you share these values Then we could have just the rolefor you.As a Health Care Assistant in our Practice Plus Group Hospital, Plymouth youll be a member of the team that provides high quality care to our patients during their time in theatres.Youll help with collecting the patient, during their anaesthetic phase & whilst undergoing surgery. Youll be supporting the scrub team in preparing the appropriate kit & equipment & also ensuring the theatre environment is clean at all times. You will alsohelp with stock control, organising equipment & audits. As a newcomer to this environment you will be assigned a buddy & mentor, plus a comprehensive Induction / Training Package. Once you have completed your Induction you will be supported to undertake yourCare Certificate.It would be an advantage if you have experience of working in an acute healthcare environment however, this is not essential. More important though is your ability to work as part of a team, willingness to learn & be an advocate for our patients. You will alsohave a strong work ethic & attention to detail.This is a Part Time position for 30 hours per week between Monday - Saturday.About The CompanyEverything we do is focused on providing a high standard of safe and effective patient care.
