Job Description

Staff Nurse – Immediate start

  • LOCATION: Clinical Decision Unit
  • BAND: 5
    • An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the challenging and busy Clinical Decision Unit team as a Registered Nurse.An effective communicator, you will be expected to provide an excellent standard of care; comply with the NMC code of conduct whilst ensuring compliance with department/UHPT procedures and processes. The successful candidate will embrace the challenge of working in a highly demanding environment where excellent patient skills and attention to detail are paramount.The Clinical Decision Unit is a 10 bedded unit and has a lounge for patients who need admission for 24 hours or less and to assist the Emergency Department. We are looking for a good team player with a flexible working attitude and effective interpersonal skills with a caring attitude to all patients.Medicine is an exciting and continually developing area of nursing with a mix of patient groups. This is an ideal opportunity to broaden knowledge and experience.Under the specialty of Medicine/Emergency, we have the following departments:
  • Ward 1 – Emergency Department (Fiona Veale)
  • Ward 2 – Clinical Decision Unit (Sharon Marshall)
