Administrative AssistantClinical and Radiation PhysicsBand 3 Full Time 37.5 HoursRef: Applications are invited for the position of PA/Administrative Assistant within Clinical & Radiation Physics, part of Healthcare Science & Technology Service Line.Clinical and Radiation Physics provides scientific and technical support services for diagnostic radiology, nuclear medicine and radiation protection within the NHS, private and academic sectors.We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to provide PA and administration duties for the Head and Deputy Head of Clinical and Radiation Physics, as well as other administrative tasks for the department.An experienced PA, the successful applicant will ensure that the Department Head and Deputy have excellent administrative support, enabling them to focus on strategic business development and Radiation Protection issues.This is a busy and demanding role with previous experience required. Applicants should have excellent communication skills, be self-motivated, have excellent time-management skills and also have the skills required to make full use of the internal computer systems. A willingness to learn and the ability to remain calm under pressure are also essential attributes of any applicants.All staff are supported in professional development and encouraged to participate in professional activities. You will need excellent organisational skills, together with a demonstrable ability to work effectively within a team.Clinical & Radiation Physics at Plymouth has an excellent reputation with both internal and external customers. We work closely with our clinical colleagues to deliver high quality, safe and patient-centred radiological imaging to our patients.
