Job Description

A well established, thriving, happy, family business, which sells and services garden equipment is looking for a Service Tecnician to join its team of 5. They may be a small team but they pack a big punch when it comes to deliveringexpert advice, serviceand repair. Overtime and profit share bonus are available.The company pride themselves on their enviable customer service and have a fantastic flexibleand fun working culture.This is a varied role as a Service Technician, your responsibilities will include:

  • Servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide variety horticulture equipment including ride-on tractors, rotary lawnmowers, hedge trimmers, strimmers, chainsaws and other related equipment electric, battery and petrol.
  • Some collection and delivery of machines.
  • Helping in the shop from time to time with customers.
The successful Service Technician will have the following skills and experience:
  • NVQ level 3 in land based engineering or equivalent.
  • Excellent mechanical engineering skills.
  • Be a lover of tinkering and fixing.
  • Hold a valid drivers license.
In return you will receive a pay rate of £11.00 - £13.00 per hour dependent on experience plus overtime, profit share bonus, contributory pension and 21 days holiday plus bank holidays.Hours are Monday to Friday 08.30am to 5.30pm - Saturday rota in operation every other week (08.30am 12.00pm@overtime).If this sounds like the Service Technician role for you, click the apply link online and send an updated copy of your CV today!Candidate Source Ltd is an advertising agency.
