Job Description

Residential Support Worker - DerehamFull-Time/Part-Time/Flexible Shifts – Hours to suit you! Better Healthcare are one of Norfolks main suppliers to the country’s largest Care groups and require Residential Support Workers to work in an Austism Specialist Residential Home in Dereham, Norfolk.This position is on days and shifts on offer include earlies, lates and long days.The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting Serivce Users with a range of day-to-day tasks, whilst promoting independence and dignity at all times. Your main responsibility will be to help improve Service Users quality of life.As an ideal candidate you will have experience of providing care whether it personal or professional, however this is not essential. The service is located on a main bus route from both Kings Lynn and Norwich, however there is also off-road parking available for those driving. In return, we can offer a flexible and rewarding career in care; this is a position which can allow you to grow and progress.Support Worker duties include:

  • Supporting with activities and appointments
  • Support with meals, including cooking and cleaning after meal times
  • Updating and maintaining accurate records
  • Getting to know Service Users and providing a source of companionship
  • Assisting with the day-to-day running of the service, including some general house keeping
