The Role:• Primarily to assist with the production process.• Liaise with customers and respond quickly to customer quotations and enquiries.• Produce quotations from customer drawings.• Load customer orders onto production control software• Produce 2D drawings and nests for CNC Laser cutter and CNC punch.• Produce job cards for production. • Entering data into the production and stock control systems• Raising purchase orders for factory supplies as and when required.• Liaising with the supply chain/sales and production and manufacturing team• Raising delivery notes The Person:• Experience in production administration /production coordination/sales administration• Effective communication skills with team, internal customers, and suppliers• A strong focus on teamwork and internal/external customer satisfaction.• Experience of MRP / ERP software, with good knowledge with MS Office applications, including excel. • Good attention to detail with superior completer / finisher mindset. • Effective time management skills able to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously.• Self motivating• Excellent verbal and written skills• Problem solving• Skills and Experience • Experience using Sheet Metal or Laser Processing CAM / quoting software, Radan and E2i will be advantageous but not necessary.• Knowledge of Brake Press Machines advantageous but not essential• Experience of 2D Cad essential.• Presentable with a good telephone manner • Able to fit in to an established manufacturing working environment.• Good organisational skills and able to work under pressure, prioritise, and manage your own workload.Hours of work are 8-4:30, Monday to Friday. 1/2 hour lunch.HOLIDAYS20 Days plus Bank Holidays.
