Job Description

Reed Procurement and Supply Chainare pleased to be working with a public sector organisation to recruit a Procurement OfficerThisProcurement Officer role will be Agile working full time hours (37 hours per week)Salary DOE up to £46,000Procurement Officerduties and responsibilities:

  • To actively manage risk and ensure compliance throughout the end to end process Providing product knowledge,
  • Sourcing, Tendering and Contract ManagementSupport
  • To support the contracts manager in all activities undertaken to achieve whole-life value for money in all of the projects
  • Sourcing the best value for money and reducing process costs
  • To achieve financial savings and efficient management of their supply chains
  • Robust and compliant with procurements
  • Ensuring all compliance to public sector standards are adhered to at all times
  • To support stakeholders and enable them to manage low value tendering activity
  • You will need to ensure that the procurements are meeting UK regulations for public sector bodies as well as the internal process
