Job Description

Mercury Talent are delighted to be recruiting for a Marketing Manager within an innovative manufacturer within the Construction sector. A competitive salary of £40-50k plus bonus.The Marketing Manager is a new role due to company expansion and will head up the existing small team of 2 with the view to additional recruits in the future. Reporting to the Sales Director you will be tasked with the following:

  • Work closely with Sales to produce a strategic marketing plan
  • Create videos to demonstrate new products and send to appropriate clients and utilise this for social media coverage
  • To lead the Marketing department and ensure company is up to date in the marketplace in all aspects of marketing
  • Work both with Research and Development and Sales to progress projects in line with the marketing strategy
  • Keep abreast of competitor information via industry research
  • Manage marketing budget and forecasting
  • Leveraging multiple techniques and channels to achieve objectives
  • Liaise with external partners to activate any website changes, SEO and PPC
The successful candidate will have a strong background in marketing with previous experience of managing a small team. Experience in a constriction environment is beneficial but not essential. You will be passionate and self-motivated and be able to buildstrong relationships with both internal staff and external customers.
