Job Description

A professional services firm based close to Stapleford and Long Eaton are seeking to recruit a Payroll professionalto work in their friendly team.The salary will depend upon experience and qualification but should be highly competitive. The firm also offer a benefits package including numerous discounts through a corporate scheme from retailers, holiday providers etc. The role can be hired on either a part time or full time basis.The job specification is as follows:A professional services firm is seeking to recruit a payroll professional for a key job role.The firm is trying to keep an open mind on salary and that would be decided if an offer is made after an interview.

  • If you have experience in bookkeeping, that would be an advantage as this work could be in addition to the payroll duties. This role could therefore be purely payroll focused or payroll focused with some bookkeeping work too. You will be working in a payroll bureau environment, providing an end to end payroll service to circa 130 clients ensuring all payroll deadlines are met alongside a couple of colleagues. The system used is IRIS payroll
  • Process new starters, leavers, amendments to contracts, statutory payments; SMP, SAP, SPP, SSP etc.
    • The firm offer competitive and flexible employment terms. The office has a friendly and social atmosphere but is also highly professional.In this crucial role you will be responsible for processing end to end payrolls for a growing portfolio of clients across a wide range of business sizes. The ideal candidate will have experience within a firm of accountants or a payroll bureau environment. Required skills
