Job Description

You have the chance to join a well-established business and drive quality improvement across a cluster of sites in the Midlands. This Interim Quality Assurance Manager position will involve you working with cross functionally in order to drive best practice.Client DetailsThis company are part of a specialist group supplying medical products across the UK. As the Interim QA Manager you will play a big part in ensuring efficient, flexible and responsive processes to meet customer needs. You will be leading the site and supportingthe wider business in maintaining compliance to GDP, GMP and ISO13485.DescriptionAs the Interim QA Manager you will be instrumental in maintaining and advancing the companys quality improvement strategy. You will be working closely with the site operation to form a best practice working culture.Key Responsibilities include:

  • Prioritise full compliance with GMDP, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 requirements to ensure Patient Safety
  • Liaise with QA Officers on matters relating to deviations, complaints, investigations and remedial actions
  • Be the first point of escalation for client issues and work closely with the QMS Manager to ensure that customer complaints are effectively dealt with and rapidly resolved
  • Review trend and performance analysis to measure effectiveness and ensure we are addressing client issues, learning from them and putting into place corrective measures to ensure they do not re-occur
  • Implement client changes, drive standardisation and continuous improvement
  • Feedback CAPA activities as requested by the client
  • Ensure quality KPIs are monitored, reviewed and achieved
  • Identify, shape and deliver relevant training and strategies e.g. driving the GDMP agenda in order to achieve standards of excellence in our operations
  • Build close relationships with our operational and functional teams to achieve right first time standards
  • Provide excellence in role modelling best practice Quality and company behaviours
ProfileA Quality professional/Quality Assurance Manager with experience gained within a regulated distribution or manufacturing setting (ideally pharmaceutical or medical devices). The successful applicant will also have the following:
  • Full understanding on all key elements of the Quality Management System and have full understanding of GMP, GDP, ISO 9001, ISO 13485 and be able to research and bring in new regulations
  • Ideally a recognised management qualification e.g. DMS or equivalent
  • Driven, motivated, results and goal orientated
  • Understanding of customer requirements, a great communicator at all levels both written and verbal
  • Maintains effective relationships, internally and externally
