Job Description

**working for an exceptional brand based in Derbyshire****Be part of an innovative and forward-thinking manufacturer**Client DetailsWorking for an Innovative and forward-thinking manufacturing business based in Derbyshire that has several plant locations globally.DescriptionAs the Group Quality Engineer reporting directly into group, you will be driving key activities, supporting with suppliers as well as:

  • Performing Standard Production Quality Management (SPQM) audits according to ISO 9001 with the aim of initiating and pursuing structured improvement projects independently
  • Developing and ensuring that the process-FMEA methodology is applied consistently and correctly as to the contents and release process FMEA documents.
  • Being responsible for the implementation, continuous improvement and group wide harmonisation of group Quality methods/processes and the enablement of the production location
  • Auditing quality processes and methods (train the trainer and 6 Sigma principles) at various plant locations across the UK
  • Regular group-wide coordination of "best practice" in (quality) processes and methods as well as lessons learned
  • Complying with Health and Safety regulations and participating in corresponding Audits (HSE, 5S, Gembas)
ProfileThe successful a Group Quality Engineer will live withing commutable distance of Derbyshire but happy to travel to sites across the UK. You will have a Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering and have a successful track record in a quality productionposition. You will have good Knowledge and be confident with applications of procedures / business processes, Quality management systems and common Q-methods including 6 Sigma principles, as well as experience in production audits and have good communicationskills.Job OfferOn offer for the successful Group Quality Engineer
