Job Description

Clinical Governance ManagerUK travel but based from Derby or PontefractPermanent Up to £50,000 PAMacildowie are thrilled to be recruiting for a Clinical Governance Manager to join a rapidly growing Healthcare company. This is such an exciting time to join the company, not just because of the growth plans and but because of the team spirit as well; they are all in it together no hierarchy just a real sense of partnership.This is a full time, permanent role that requires regular travel to various locations across the UK; we are looking for someone who is ideally local to either Derby or Pontefract.Role & Responsibilities:Support the Clinical team, providing advice and ensuring the highest standards are maintained along with contributing to solutions in relation to patient safety and clinical quality issues Complete clinical audits analyse outcomes and set appropriate improvement actions plans Complete all Clinical department risk assessments, analyse outcomes and set appropriate actions plansEnsure integration of clinical quality and risk objectives with current corporate objectives (Board Assurance Framework) Support the management team in monitoring progress against risk management and clinical auditEnsure that lessons are learnt across the business, using reactive and proactive systems, and supporting the clinical team to ensure that learning is translated into practice improvements Collate and analyse information to facilitate, reflect on clinical practice and service, supporting implementation of good practice and quality improvements across the teamEnsure that data, processes, and monitoring/audit of outcomes are maintainedReview all new service documentationPrepare and present reports on clinical governance issues to the relevant forum when required, including clinical audit, risk management and analysis of incident trend data/incident investigation reportsContribute to the Clinical team response in relation to CQC standards Oversee and respond to all Clinical incidents/ complaintsManage and maintain effective working relationships regarding risk and assurance across the businessTo lead and ensure clinical compliance with specialist/complex service set up Be responsible for the organisation and administration of integrated Governance committee, including preparing agendas, writing minutes, and producing assurance reportsIdeal Candidate:Registered nurse with an active NMC pin number or HCPC registered clinical professionalDemonstrable experience in a similar roleWell-honed negotiation and communication skills with a flexible approachSelf-motivated, dedicated with a committed approach showing interest in understanding the business and industryTo be proactive and motivated responding positively to new challengesPassionate about Clinical GovernanceGood negotiator with excellent communicationAs well as the above, you will also be highly organised, a good problem solver and able to work well in a team.Macildowie is a specialist recruitment consultancy with a rich history of enhancing the careers of professionals across the Midlands and the Northern Home Counties.
