Job Description

Class 1 HGV DriversWe are recruiting for both day and night Class 1 HGV drivers for our client based in Sawley, near Long Eaton. As a class 1 HGV driver you will undertake x2 store deliveries per day. Class 1 drivers will work on a 5 day rota with each shift between 8 to 10 hours long.These positions also present drivers with the opportunity to go permanent should they desire it with a potential earning of around £36,000.Start times for class 1 drivers are between:

  • 0600 and 1000 for days
  • 1800 and 2200 for nights
    • Class 1 HGV Drivers will need:
  • A valid Class 1 license
  • A valid CPC and tacho
  • No more than 6 points (No TTs, No INs, No DDs, No DRs)
  • To have held their class 1 license for a minimum of 12 months for insurance purposes
    • Class 1 HGV Drivers will receive:
  • PAYE - £138 per day
  • LTD - £150 per day
    • Class 1 HGV Drivers will go through a paid 3 day training and induction with the company alongside the option to go permanent with a yearly earning potential of £36,000 plus benefits.To apply for these vacancies, please click apply or call us .
