Job Description

This established global brand leader is known for its product quality and innovationLeaders in their field they manufacture building products for plumbing, drainage and water management.Due to continued success, they are now recruiting for a Field Sales Executive to cover the East Midlands, North West and North East of the UK.This role covers Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, East Yorkshire, North Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, West Yorkshire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside, Lancashire, Cumbria, Cheshire, County Durham, Tyne & Wear, Northumberland and Cleveland.Reporting to the Sales Manager the successful candidate will be tasked with the following responsibilities:

  • Preparing and working to a sales plan to meet / exceed objectives and targets in line with company expectations
  • Keeping abreast of competitor products / updates to ensure you stay ahead of the game
  • Developing and maintaining a full understanding of relevant market developments to identify new sales opportunities
  • Establishing, maintaining and developing a customer network of contractors / installers, specifies and distributors to ensure maximum chances of gaining business
  • Providing support, coaching and product training to key people within main distribution accounts
  • Visiting contractors and specifiers to understand their needs and present and sell them the most appropriate product solution.
To apply for this position, you will need to be a dynamic field sales professional from within the building products sector. You will have a positive can-do attitude and be used to selling a product on its features and benefits rather than price.Additionally, you will be a great communicator with the ability to establish and nurture excellent client relationships in a project-led sales role.Projects span the roofing and drainage sector at the more bespoke end of the market including both self-builds and the public sector.On offer is a salary of up to £40,000 plus bonus and car allowance as well as healthcare, pension up to 10%, life insurance, income protection and 25 days plus bank holidays.For further information contact Natalie Matthews on / or
