We have two fantastic positions for a busy transport office based just outside of Derby.Hours of work 08:00 - 18:00 Monday - Friday.£26,000 - £28,000 and we are looking to recruit on a temporary to permanent basis for these roles.Overtime is available in these roles and will be paid at premiums.You will be working in a busy, dynamic transport office and will be responsible for managing the vehicle / driver resources across the contract to ensure deliveries are made on time, and in budget.You will be required to motivate the team of Transport clerks and operatives completing toolbox talks’, ensuring the operations complies with legal requirements.Although you will be working Monday - Friday, you will be responsible for control of weekend resource and planning.With regards to the drivers, you will be responsible for managing and controlling driver hours and overtime and reporting on costs to the management team.To be successful in this role, you:
