Trainer Assessor Residential Child CareI am currently supporting a reputable Training Provider who I have had the pleasure of recruiting for over 10 years.Due to growth I am now recruiting for a Qualified Trainer/Assessor with experience in coaching and assessing Residential Child Care Apprenticeship Programmes.This is working remotely with minimal travelThe role comes with an excellent salary, benefits, and genuine career opportunitiesStarting salary of £27000Performance-related bonusAnnual Staff Appraisal23 days+ bank holiday rising to 28 days+ your birthday off (Pro-Rata)Company laptop, mobile, PrinterSupportive management cultureThis role is going to focus on and assessing against the set standards for the Residential Child Care Apprenticeships.The Technical teaching and delivery of the qualifications are carried out by a dedicated Trainer.Summary of the main duties and responsibilities of Trainer/Assessor- will include:Supporting learners undertaking Apprenticeship Qualifications in Residential child care to level 5Marking and assessing course work and providing constructive support and feedback to the learnerProviding information and guidance to the learner during their apprenticeshipWorking to specific quality and completion of targetsOrganise and maintain documentation on learners progress.Supporting and guiding the learner through to End Point AssessmentTo provide a friendly and supportive service to students, using a range of communication mediaTo provide support to the learners through a variety of platforms to include telephone, email, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Skype, and online learning platformsTo work within the framework set out by Awarding Bodies or other accrediting agencies, including verification and moderation systems, whether set internally or externallySkills, Experience, and Qualifications Required for the Trainer/Skills CoachAssessor qualified, A1, TAQA, CAVA,Recognised teaching qualification e.g. PTTLS, Award in Education and TrainingMinimum of level 3 qualifications in Residential Care- ideally working towards level 5Experience in delivering and assessing Apprenticeship Programmes in Residential Child Care to level 5Excellent IT Skills and proficient in using E-Portfolios and Online Learning and Assessment platformsExperience in using Microsoft Teams, Zoom, and Skype is highly desirableVocational competence ideally at Supervisory or Management level in Residential Child CareThis position is being managed by Pertemps Newcastle.
