Job Description

Technical Support Analyst (Hybrid - Derbyshire) - £30k - £38k + Bonus - Medical 2 nd Line Support | Troubleshooting | Active Directory | Network | Endpoint | VMware Salary: £30,000 - £38,000Location: Derbyshire - Hybrid Are you an experienced 2 nd line professional, looking for a new challenge in your career Do you have demonstrable experience in providing technical support and guidance to resolve incidents and problems in a timely manner Have you previously worked inan ITIL environment, managing problems, changes and releases Interested in working for an innovative and award-winning company who support the development of your career If so, I have a fantastic opportunity for you!Im looking to speak with individuals who can investigate server and network-based issues and find a resolution within SLAs. You will be able to maintain the Endpoint infrastructure, ensuring applications are up to date and task sequences are fit for purpose.You must be able to manage, maintain and develop the Intune environment.Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve server and network based issues within agreed SLAs
  • Provide 2 nd line support with a desire to tackle 3 rd line problems
  • Work within ITIL framework to manage problems, changes and releases
  • Create documentation in the service desk system for any work completed
  • Maintain and monitor backups
  • Continue the Windows Update deployment schedule and release groups within Endpoint and continually check for potential updates to improve performance
  • Ensure applications are up to date and tasks correctly sequenced within Endpoint
  • Oversee and develop Intune environment
  • Assist with the cloud rollout
  • Manage configuration changes and live incidents in Fortinet suite
  • Ensure Cisco switches are maintained with configuration changes
The Ideal Candidate
  • Desire to learn new skills and develop with the company
  • Enthusiastic with a desire to see tasks through to their resolution
  • Understanding of Microsoft Servers, Active Directory and Office 365
  • Knowledge of virtualisation technologies and backup system management
  • Previous experience of Endpoint Configuration Manager would be beneficial
  • Desire to develop cloud skills
  • Knowledge of Cisco switch management and Fortinet firewalls
