I am currently recruiting for Recovery Workers to work for a large charity that specialises in Mental Health and Recovery, as well as addiction support and recovery. You will help support people on a one to one basis in the office and in the community asthey work towards a healthy mental and physical wellbeing, life skills, greater independence and self esteem.Your general day to day duties will consist of;" Providing support to clients to maintain changes made to drug and alcohol use or achieve abstinence." 1:1 support face to face and telephone support" Signposting to additional support services" Attending multiagency meetings" Adult / Child Safeguarding " Delivering recovery groups and activitiesTo be suitable for this role you must have experience in Mental Health and/or substance misuse. Have fantastic communication skills both spoken and written and be able to take notes and keep case files up to date. If you have a degree in a mental health ora health and wellbeing related subject, then that`s a BIG bonus.This is an entry level role for grad students. The salary reflects this for your first 12 months at £18, 278. You will also receive an enhanced annual leave allowance, access to employee assistance support and other exciting benefits.
