Senior Product Engineer £65k to £75k Derby Manufacturing Office based with some flexibilityThe SF Engineering and Manufacturing Division are looking for an experienced Product Design Engineer to be based in Derby UK to join our clients team, focussing on developing and improving intelligent infrastructure monitoring products for use within the waterindustry. The individual will be responsible for working with existing product lines as well as an integral part of developing new products for the UK and overseas markets. Daily activities include monitoring product performance, failure analysis, liaising with manufacturersand suppliers UK and overseas. Working closely with a small engineering team, We are seeking an individual with industry experience in the design, development and delivery to market of new products. Key requirements:-Mechanical design experience -Familiar with Solid Works or similar design software -Holds a senior or comparable level of experience within product design -Experience of improving and managing insisting product lines -Experience of working with outsourced manufactures -Ability to manage product roll out and improvement plans -Ability to supervise technicians -Ideally from a high volume / low cost product background, with instrumentation being a distint advantage.
