Senior EngineerDerbyto c£43k neg dep exp + benOur established and highly successful niche sector Derby based client offers a range of highest quality services that encompass Project Management and Implementation, Consultancy and Software Development to blue chip clients worldwide, and as a result of continued success and an ongoing planned programme of strategic growth, they are now seeking to recruit an experienced and dedicated Senior Engineer to complement the existing Industrial Automation team.With technical responsibility for all aspects of projects including adherence to requirements, design, development and testing of control/integrated systems, you will undertake the day to day co-ordination and technical management of the team of project engineers.Highly skilled in programming a variety of PLCs using Ladder Logic, Function block or Statement List methods and proficient in configuring SCADA software packages and User Interface mimic design, the Senior Engineer will use high-level programming languages ranging from C, C++, C#, VB and VBA and perform IP network design and configuration as well as the design and test of ELV electrical panels.Other responsibilities will include performing the configuration of CCTV, PA and telephone systems over an IP network, performing a FAT & site commissioning with formal client witnessing and working collaboratively and proactively with clients in order to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction at all times.To be considered for these varied and challenging Senior Engineer positions it is envisaged that you will have attained a degree/HND in control, electrical, electronic or software engineering and demonstrate at least 5 years previous successful experience in delivering control/integrated systems using some of the skills listed above.As the role potentially encompasses a wide range of skills and technology, extensive mentoring and training is available for suitably qualified and experienced individuals providing a great opportunity to gain a wealth of skills and experience from technical to project delivery.If you are an ambitious and committed engineer with bags of drive and enthusiasm and are looking to work in a progressive, friendly and supportive environment where commitment, flexibility and integrity are valued, then contact the Controls Team at Premier Technical Recruitment on or email your cv in confidence to for further details.
