Senior Accountant | Derby | Exclusive to CherryLooking for your next role in Practice where there is no limit to what you could achieve Cherry are working with a fantastic practice in Derby who are offering just that, initially you would be doing "the doing”, but in the long term, a managerial role and even directorship, isn’t out of the question for the right person.As Senior Accountant, your role will be broken down to around 60% Management Accounts/KPIs/Management Information and the rest annual accounts and ad-hoc special projects. They are looking for someone who can really add value to their clients and deliver amazing levels of customer service. Attention to detail and a focus on quality an absolute key.Key duties;- Preparing management accounts from Xero/QBO/Sage 50/QB- Preparing cash-flow forecasts and budgets- Statutory accounts and CT600s for SMEs- Training clients on software/apps- Attend client meetings- Personal tax returnsExperience and Qualifications;- Qualified – ACCA/ACA/CIMA/AAT- Experience within a practice- Driver with full UK license and own car- High level MS office skills, particularly excel- High level knowledge of Xero, QBO, Sage 50- Good knowledge of FRS102A- Good tax knowledge – particularly Corporation Tax, VAT and Income TaxWhats on offer;- Up to £36,000- Clearly defined progression routes, in the long term, a managerial role or even directorship isnt out of the question- Fantastic opportunity for personal growth and developmentCherry Professional are recruiting for this opportunity on behalf of our client.
