Job Description

The Hilditch Group is the leading used medical device and healthcare sector auctioneer, reseller and asset manager in Europe, established in 1990.More than that, the company has a higher social purpose built on these three pillars:

  • Helping the NHS earn back some much-needed cash by selling on used medical equipment.
  • Saving the environment by re-using and recycling rather than scrapping appliances.
  • Benefiting poorer developing countries by supplying them with cost effective, previously used medical products.
    • Due to growth and a recent promotion, the company is looking to hire a sales representative for the East Midlands territory. Broadly this covers Sheffield, Leeds, Leicester, Nottingham, Derby but extends to Milton Keynes as its most southerly point.You will be promoting the auctioneering services of the Hilditch Group covering a wide range of medical equipment. Everything from medical imaging, endoscopes, blood pressure monitors, defibrillators and lab equipment.Primarily this equipment comes from NHS Trusts, Private Hospitals and directly from medical device manufactures. Your key stakeholders will include procurement, finance, EBME departments and heads of departments such as Radiology and Endoscopy.The role will be a blend of developing new accounts and managing existing relationships.Above all, we are looking for the right attitude and excellent sales skills. Coupled with a solid medical device background, preferably involving some level of capital equipment.
