Our client, a global automotive company based near to Epsom, Surrey is looking for a field based Remarketing Executive. You will be working as part of the Defleet & Remarketing team, providing on-site and project support for the successful implementationand operations of their used vehicle refresh function. You will be responsible for managing your own case load, empowered to make decisions involving repair methods, repair costs, technical support, and sales channel allocation.The main goal of the Defleet & Remarketing function is to increase used vehicle repatriation into the Network. Due to the dynamic market landscape, our client is looking to develop new routes to market and build the foundations for 2nd/3rd lifecycle leasingoperations. To support these initiatives, they are building their Used Vehicle Refresh operation, where all their vehicles will be received, assessed, prepared, imaged, and stored awaiting their next use. This project is both significant, and strategicallyimportant for the company and represents a high profile opportunity.Your responsibilities will include: Representing Remarketing Services Groups interests as the Used Vehicle Refresh project progresses. Ensure all resultant issues, actions and queries from the project are addressed, answered, and resolved. Providing on-site support to the client implementation project team as and when required. Support Mobility Projects implementation, ensuring full client support and understanding of various MBU requirements and subsequently timely delivery of objectives. Ensure consistently high-quality image and video quality standards are established and maintained, and make sure their Approved Used/ Select Direct propositions are best in industry. Select, prioritise, and progress chase PDI mechanical & body preparation & safety recall, or warranty work identification for Approved Used/ Select Direct stock, ensuring quality of used vehicle preparation represent the brands core philosophy and values Manage used vehicle grievances in collaboration with clients teams, to provide customer centric outcomes to reinforce quality, transparency and trust in both wholesale channels and approved used/select direct programmes. Provide periodic and FYE stock audit support on-site. Conduct regular quality control activities on the used vehicle preparation process(es) with Defleet Partner to support the early detection of quality concerns Identify any Used vehicle preparation quality concerns at the point of repair and provide information to the supplier(s) and management to deliver fast effective feedback to ensure early resolution Escalate high priority items with quality data to reduce negative impact on the brand Monitor and progress chase defleet and used vehicle preparations to minimise overall used vehicle stock speed to market Maintain high quality of used vehicle condition through making appropriate refurbishment decisions based on vehicle condition assessment, evaluation & negotiate over repairs & appropriate methods Provide on-site advice & guidance/support to the Defleet & Process Specialist for End of Contract damage considerationsYour key skills will include: Good organisational skills and ability to manage a balance of project and other tasks simultaneously Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent time management & work prioritisation skills Experience gained within the Motor Industry, possibly including the areas of Body & Paint, Mechanical Repair & Technical. Effective fact finding and problem-solving skills. Ability to influence and good negotiation skills, including tact & diplomacy Ability to work remotely without daily direct supervision
