A high performing highly regulated manufacturer in Derbyshire are looking to appoint a highly skilled Quality Manager; someone who can take them from compliance to best practice - setting the benchmark for the quality of products in the industry. The business are a specialist manufacturer, supplying an array of specialist products into the construction sectorThis role requires an experienced Quality Management professional who can engage with all levels of the business and introduce fresh ideas to improve the processes, systems and culture. This role requires someone who can comfortably operate both on the shop floor, with senior leadership and in front of customers.With a management team committed to change from the top, this is a career defining opportunity for a Quality Manager to truly add value to the organisation.Duties and Responsibilities include:- Work to embed a "right first time" culture into the business- Champion cost of poor quality and preventive methods, managing goods in, production quality and quarantine products- Drive down NCR, reject and scrap rates on site- Drive PPAP and FMEA processes- Implement, streamline and manage an effective QMS and internal audit programThe successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following skills and experience:- Strong manufacturing experience in an asphalt, clay or concrete manufacturing environment- Stable career background, coming from a permanent employment background- Proven track record of people development- ISO9001 experience - Ability to influence at all levels of organisation- Proven experience in driving changes and improvements- Positive, friendly, driven attitude, with an outgoing personalityAre you passionate about leading the Quality department across a world class manufacturing site This is a great opportunity for a Quality Manager to join market-leading business.To apply for this position please send your application or call 01709.723248 for all enquiries Required skills
